Valeria I've started leveling another warrior. Yes yes I know. I already have one. I always rush to 80, get well geared, spend tons of cash on epic flight, riding, cold weather flying, enchants and gems. Then, I get bored. I level a new character.
I intend to tank my way to 80, but occasionally it's nice to just do some mindless dps. Did an instance with a pally tanking. This guy was using a 2 handed weapon and was taking massive damage. I know what you're going to say: 2 handed tanking is
Where the devil are they?
I decided to make a new warrior and level as protection 1-80. Went with a female orc, as I rarely see any.
And simultaneously, I really hate pugs... With a passion.
I recently decided to pick up my paladin again. As some know my old paladin(sertorius) was deleted as I felt that I had enough in my druid/shaman combo. However currently the guild really only has one paladin main tank(if I remember correctly). And I used to love tanking on mine, however in TBC they were weak, overburdened by stats and vastly undergeared. These days pallies are probably a bit overpowered, but still a simple
So, yesterday we finally managed old LK.
Was surprisingly easy(30% buff) so I guess I'm still concerned that it took so long. Not gonna dwell on it too long. Time to look forward to Cataclysm I guess.
I'll probably be leveling my paladin again. Yes, I've said repeatedly that I wouldn't, but when I first leveled it, I wen't protection from 10-70. Leveling as a fresh, pre-buff, paladin was harsh. Took me 4x as long as any other char, I've leveled up. But playing a protection
I'm sitting here reading an article that pretty much sums up my thoughts in the recent weeks.
Past
I've been playing far too long, and I've seen a lot of content in that time. My focus has always been to have fun. My fun these days comes with getting difficult fights down as cleanly as possible, or even achieving something the guild hasn't done previously. Like getting 11/12 ICC bosses in one evening.
Present
In 2010 it seems people are hooked on gear.
